Roosevelt School Rules
Do you know the three Roosevelt school rules? Does your student know the three Roosevelt school rules?

  • Be safe.
  • Be respectful.
  • Be responsible.

Please take the time to review these rules with your child. While we continuously work on student’s physical safety, we also take care to address how school staff can keep all student’s social emotional well-being safe. We can promote school, staff, and student safety by being respectful and responsible.

As our year comes to a close, we will focus on student’s identity and how we as a school community can respect and care for who we all are. As a family, you can support these conversations by discussing your student’s identity and how to approach individuals that identify differently than your student.

We encourage you to explore different identities in your own home as we do so at school.  Common Sense Media has great book lists organized by student ages for parents. I encourage you to share stories that support different identities with your children.

As always, our goal at Roosevelt is to ensure every student, family, and community feels supported. For more information about how Roosevelt seeks to prevent discrimination, enforce district policy regarding discrimination, and responds to complaints, please read AR 5145.3.
